- Kansas SB 418: Signed by the governor (April 7, 2026). Enrolled version narrows scope: minimum lot size of 3,000 sq.ft. for homes under 2,500 sq.ft. living area (was 3,000 sq.ft.)

Dead bills now excluded from totals
Dead/failed bills are now filtered out of projection totals but remain visible in the tracker with status notes. This removes approximately 103,000 homes/year from the total:
- Florida: SB 948/HB 1143 (80,100), SB 1342 (13,500), SB 048/HB 313 (3,580)
- Maryland: HB 239/SB 006 (5,800)
Added is_dead column to data for tracking bill status. Total now reflects only pending and passed legislation.
UX improvements: - Added state search in leaderboard - Fixed tooltip Unicode characters - Gold border (passed legislation) now clearly supersedes green (top 5 leaders) - States with no bills now display hatch pattern on map - Added KISS tooltip explanation
